About Taaleri Energia
Taaleri Energia is a Finnish-based wind and solar developer and fund manager currently raising its sixth renewable energy fund. Taaleri Energia has one of the largest dedicated wind and solar investment teams in Europe and is the largest wind power producer in Finland, with an 10 percent market share.
Taaleri Energia is part of the Taaleri Group, which is listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange. Taaleri Group has EUR 2.6 billion of assets under management.
Background
The cost of large scale wind and solar electricity generation has decreased by between 60 to 80% over the past 10 years and in many countries it is now the cheapest form of new build electricity generating capacity. By 2050, over 70% of the world's electricity will be generated from wind power and solar energy.
